For this bus trip we were able to fill the bus by bringing along a guest. Ten of us left mid-morning, sitting back and relaxing, letting Steve our bus driver worry about the driving and the traffic.
After entering the main complex we were kept busy in the Horse and Dog area with pats and photo opportunities. Then we entered the main Outback Spectacular complex ready for lunch and the show.
During this show ‘Heartlands’, we were taken on an emotional ride into the Australian bush. The battles and joys of the life of the Australian farmer were played out in front of us. The spectacular horsemanship was appreciated by all.
When it was time to head home, there was a clever stop at Yatala Pies to ensure we all had something for the dinner table on our return.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day with good company.
